ARCHITECT DIRECTOR / DIP ARCH BARCH ARB RIBA

Joe Wright

RIBA chartered architect Joe Wright leads a design-focused practice which draws on professional experience across domestic, education and commercial sectors. Prior to establishing JWa, Joe worked as Project Architect on a number of high-profile schemes at the multi prize-winning practice, Allford Hall Monaghan Morris architects.

Joe completed his degree in architecture at the University of Nottingham in 2001 before progressing to the postgraduate school at the University of Westminster. He received the highest grades; pass with distinction, in both RIBA II and III professional diplomas. Joe’s diploma design project was a playful, yet careful study for a new zero-carbon primary school in west London, which sprang from the themes of nurture and nature. In 2005 Joe was awarded the Sir Banister Fletcher Prize for his outstanding architectural dissertation on New York’s Lower East Side.
